Instructions

These instructions are also in the TeX file.

• Compile with LuaLaTeX. See the instructions at the department accessibility page
• Use \(...\) instead of $...$
• Use \[...\] instead of $$...$$
• Do not use custom LaTeX macros. Even avoid \C or \R or \N or other shortcuts. Write out \mathbb{R}, etc, instead.
• Do not add your own packages, if possible. They won't render on the website.
• Use the MathJax Sandbox to test that individual questions will also render on the website.
• Please remember to tag each question with the \QuestionTags{} command.
• Try to use existing tags from quals.math.utah.edu as much as possible.
• Please make sure cases match exactly, including capitalization and spacing.
• i.e. \QuestionTags{Algebra, Vector Spaces, Eigenvalue decomposition}
